I'm sorry hope it picks up and you will come back somr day good luck!

I hear you, man. It's such a pain in the ass to get a good job nowadays. I'm a freshman in college and I've finally found a place that will give me some job experience (I found a job a volunteer job at a local hospital, as well as paying job). It's pretty hard to make your mark unless you have some good connections, it seems.

Best of Luck, SheizenHammer! I hope that eventually you'll pay us a visit, once you become a success ;)

Damn, this is bad to hear. I really hate how the economy has gone in this country and although I've had eight months worth of paid experience (as well as ten months of voluntary work thanks to a voluntary seeking organisation in the Wirral), not even that is getting me another job easily. I've seen so many job places that look like fucking tumbleweed and I'm just glad I had my job at the school, even if it ended a while ago. I'll definitely take that experience for granted as well as not dedicating myself to university.

I hope you can get back on your feet soon enough. Take care now.

damn.

This post kinda inspires me to do alternatives and seek out IRL things for the future.

I'll miss you Sheizenhammer, I really will.

You know, I wish I had some sort of job in mind so I could work towards it now, but I'm stuck in a limbo now where I work for my dad and do housework all summer.

Anyway, it's been good Sheiz. I hope your trip pays off. It's gonna be a little different without your dumb review blog and all your little humorous posts.

You have all of my support. Real life gets in the way of all NGers eventually, but I hope you'll be back.

I wish I could do more than say "I'm sorry" - the world economy is not at it's best, and there are pockets of areas that are worse off than others. Here in the US, some cities are looking for more workers, and others are closing doors. People have been forced to move hundreds - or thousands - of kilometers away from their home town to find work. Unfortunately, what you find may not be what you trained for. I had a client based out of Texas that three years ago he was running an advertising business and used me to create websites for HIS client. At one time, I was managing 10 (yes, 10) websites for him. Now, he's doing home improvements and fixing roofs, and 9 out of 10 of his clients are out of business. The economy tanked really bad in that state - and at 42 years old, with a wife and 3 kids this guy sold the family ranch, moved into Dallas and is renting a mediocre apartment in a questionable neighborhood, and working twice as hard for half the money.

I'm not trying to tell you that this is what you'll have to face - it's just a rough world out there. Be flexible; learn as many different things as can - the proverbial "jack of all trades, master of none" applies here. Be ready to look for opportunities and go where they are. Eventually, things will improve - and in the meantime, you'll just have to adapt to the changes and follow the work. It may be a few years before you see a job in your field, but never lose sight of your goals. You'll get there - it just may take a bit of time on a long and winding road.

Good luck, and God bless!

Very sorry to hear about your problems man, I really hope you can pick up the experience you need, I know countless people who were caught up in the no experience=no job=no experience cycle, some of them got lucky breaks, others had to take drastic measures like emigration. Whatever happens, I wish you the best of luck.

Goodbye, Hammer. You were one of my favorite fellow Newgrounders.

Take care.

Wow man. That sucks masive donkey cock. I know you don't belive in it, but I will be praying for you. I hope to see you back as soon as you can.

<3 you man and goodluck.

Hey dude, that's awful, really awful to hear this from you...

While I was reading your post, I kept repeating the same thing: "Shit! Fuck! That's awful!" and I realized that while we were in the EGB together, we now are kinda like a family, we care for each other, that's really awesome, and I care about you. It's really bad to hear this, but I hope someday you can go back to the Barracks and tell us how's your life... I hope everything gets normal to you Sheizen!!

Goodbye dude!!

Please hang in there Sheizen. You know, I really admire how strong and courageous you are with what you're struggling through. I can only hope that all your hard work will pay off. You will be missed dearly, but above all I wish you the best in your search for a better future. Give it all you got! I'm rootin' for ya!

Holy crap sheizenhammer, i remember you, just purely from seeing you.

It is an incredibly vicious cycle, it happens in many locations, the economy is a real bitch.

I guess your in the middle of the gamble now. Good luck, i hope you find purpose

Feels bad man...

Good luck in life bro.

As Katy Perry once said, 'After a hurricane, comes a rainbow.'

Again, I wish you all the good luck in life.
